A princely history

In 1911, the idiosyncratic Floris Dekker from Wieringerwaard started Logement en Café Dekker. Most of his ideas died in beauty but this became a success. He later changed the name to Prins Hendrik, after the consort of Queen Wilhelmina. The prince hunted ducks and ducks in it north of Texel and slept in the lodging, so tradition has it.

We think it's a fantastic thought that he will join us for a good meal and enjoyed a strong drink. And that is still possible. You are very welcome.
